    A highway worker was killed early Thursday morning when he was stuck by a construction truck, according to police. He was working on I-65 near Shepherdsville when he was hit by a Ford Explorer in a northbound lane blocked off from regular traffic by construction barrels.     A Pikeville line mechanic fell Wednesday morning from 42 feet up a 55-foot telephone pole. He received extensive injuries to both wrist. He may or may not have been electrocuted, they were unable to fly him out due to bad weather conditions.   • Railroad Accident Sends Two to Hospital

    Authorities are investigating the cause of a train accident that injured two employees and sent another to the hospital with heat exhaustion. One was airlifted after being trapped for several hours in the train's locomotive. One train had stopped to switch cars when it was hit by the second train. Investigators are looking into both the possibilities of human error and mechanical malfunction.
