There were thirteen fatalities during the third week of the year on Kentucky Roadways (January 14-20).All of these fatalities were traveling in Motor Vehicles and eleven were NOT wearing their seatbelts. A Kentucky Car Crash in Gallatin County claimed four lives. Since the start of the year ten fatalities are suspected to be alcohol related.

Twelve People Die on Kentucky Highways and Interstate during the second week of the year, January 7-13. There were 12 Kentucky Auto Accidents that involved deaths January 7-13Eleven of the victims were in Motor Vehicles and eight of them were not wearing their seatbelts. Roger Darnall of Paducah Kentucky was killed late last night when his truck overturned on U.S. 62 near Reildland at the intersection of Highway 1887. McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies closed the road for several hours to investigate the causes of the accident.

A five year old young boy was hit by a Federal Express Truck Wednesday in Paducah Kentucky. The Auto Accident took place near the home of Zavion Thomas on North 10th Street. Zavion was later transferred to Kosair Chidren's Hospital in Louisville Kentucky.
