Semi Truck Accident Closes North Bound Lanes of Purchase Parkway

The north bound lanes of Purchase Parkway are now open after being closed for most of the morning. The driver of a semi truck carrying rice hulls fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to overturn and spill its contents onto the highway. Officials spent most of the morning moving the wreckage and cleaning up the rice hulls to ensure safety for oncoming motorists.
