Friday the trains were once again rolling on the tracks in Bullitt County, after a massive derailment on Tuesday. 800 feet of new track had been laid where the fires had scorched the tracks. No answers yet from federal investigators or CSX officials on the cause of the incident. On Saturday some evacuated residents were allowed to return home briefly for necessary items and to check on pets. Some reported a really nasty smell, buckled siding, and smoke damage. There is no timetable set for residents to return permanently.
