The train derailment two weeks ago in Brooks, Kentucky still leaves about 15 families locked out of their homes. Some utilities have still not been restored such as gas and water to some of the homes and the Environmental Protection Agency says there is so much equipment it really makes it unsafe for them to return at this time. 4,500 tons of contaminated earth from around the site has been removed and 200,000 gallons of waste water that contained chemicals spilled have been removed also. The cost will be in the millions before it is all over with.
