We are seeing very serious injuries from people who have suffered NSF - Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis, after having received a Gadolinium based contrast agent for an MRI procedure. People most at risk were those with kidney disease/renal failure who were receiving an MRI to determine the extent of their kidney problems. NSF/NFD is characterized by areas of tight and rigid skin that makes it difficult to bend joints. It may also result in fibrosis or scarring of body organs resulting in the inability of body organs to work properly and can lead to death.
