A man was killed in a two car accident in Floyd County around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the accident happened on Kentucky Route 122 when a vehicle traveling west was hit by a vehicle that was going east that crossed the center line and hit head-on. The driver going west was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital where the extent of his injuries were unknown. The Kentucky State Police are still investigating the accident.
