Two Car Crash Kills One in Glasgow

Early Monday morning a two car crash happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and U.S. 31E. A 19-year-old from Rector, Arkansas was on Happy Valley Road when he went through the intersection of U.S. 31E, a 51-year-old driver from Glasgow struck the drivers side door. The Glasgow resident and a 19 year old passenger from the other vehicle were transported to T.J. Samson Hospital with back and neck injuries. The driver from Arkansas was taken from the scene by STAT flight to the University of Louisville Hospital where he later died. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seatbelts.
