A three vehicle accident left one dead early Tuesday morning on KY 292 a few miles from the Pike/Martin County line. Early indications are that a late 1980's Lincoln Town Car may have crossed the center line into the path of an 18- wheel loaded coal truck. The coal truck hit the Town Car and a late model Dodge Ram pickup that was directly behind the car before overturning and losing it's load. The driver of the pickup died at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
