Monday the Thomason Byway took it's third death since opening in August. A 23- year-old expectant mother was killed when her Kia SUV was struck by a 45-year-old from Clarkson who failed to stop at a stop sign. The Kia overturned several times and came to rest on it's top on the shoulder of the byway. The Highway Department has put flags at the top of signs at the intersections of 1214 & 920 and also has plans for flashing lights to the stop ahead signs. The speed limit has also been set at 45 mph.
