Six People Injured in Chain Reaction Accident in Northern Kentucky

A crash involving four vehicles on Kentucky's AA Highway in Alexandria Tuesday afternoon sent six people to the hospital. A semi-tractor trailer loaded with steel plates lost control at an intersection, running a crane into a ditch, broad-sided a pickup truck, turning the semi on it's side causing it to lose the load of plates that scattered across the southbound lanes and northbound lanes where they struck a car. The driver of the pickup truck was in critical condition and the two children who were passengers were in emergency surgery. The car had a family from West Virginia the driver, his wife and child were also taken to the hospital.
