School Bus Accident in Grant County

Early this morning as a bus was taking students to Grant County Middle School, the bus dropped off the right side of the road and then back across and off the left, sideswiping a pole near the back of the bus. The driver and 17 students were taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Some of the children's injuries were severe enough they had to be sent to other hospitals for treatment. No information is available at this time on the extent of injuries or conditions.
