One Vehicle Crash In Greenup County Kills Two

Two people were killed in a one vehicle crash in Greenup County and another injured. The driver of the vehicle apparently lost control and struck a tree on the passenger side of the vehicle. Two women were pronounced dead at the scene and a male passenger was taken to Our Lady Of Bellefonte Hospital for his injuries. The driver was charged with numerous citations as alcohol, drugs and speed are all contributing factors to the crash. He was lodged in the Green up County Detention Center. The Kentucky State Police and an Accident Reconstructionist are still investigating.
