Louisville Man Killed in I-71 Crash

Around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon in Gallatin County, a 23-year-old Louisville man was killed on Interstate 71. According to Kentucky State Police, he was driving north when his vehicle crossed the median and stuck a vehicle that was going south driven by a 67-year-old man from Ohio. The Louisville man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle and then struck by another southbound vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car that hit him was not injured. The other driver was transported to Carroll County Hospital with moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.
