Monday morning an 18 year old boy from Gravel Switch fell asleep while driving a Chevrolet pickup and crossed the center lane on US 127 just south of Hustonville. He then struck a Jeep liberty driven by a 31 year old Sanford woman who had to be extricated from her vehicle and flown to UK Medical Center along with her 5 year old son. The 18 year old was injured as was his passenger a 13 year old boy who suffered neck and chest injuries.
