Sunday a crash on Ky. 498 killed a Beattyville woman in Lee County and sent another to the hospital. According to Kentucky State Police the 26-year-old Beattyville woman was driving on Ky. 498 about 10:15 a.m. when she apparently crossed the center lane and crashed head-on into a truck driven by a 27-year-old Beattyville man. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the truck was pregnant and was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital with internal injuries. She was listed in fair condition last night. The driver was not injured. Three juveniles in the other car had non-life threatening injuries.
