Around 6 p.m. Saturday evening KSP Trooper Tim Adams was attending a non injury accident on I-65 around the 48 mile marker when he was injured. A north-bound tractor-trailer was trying to slow down when he saw the emergency vehicles. His truck began to jack-knife sliding off the right side of the road and striking a Park City Fire Department vehicle. Adams was standing near the vehicle at the time and tried to get out of the way but his foot became pinned under the right front tire of the tractor-trailer. The fire department was able to free him and he was treated at T.J. Sampson Community Hospital for a broken femur and bruised ankle.
