Grant County School Bus Driver Arrested

Seventeen students were injured last week in a bus crash in Grant County and the bus driver who was driving has now been arrested. A search warrant obtained earlier in the week and executed turned up charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana less than 8 oz. The driver had been driving for the Grant County School Systems for four years. The school system did not say if she was still employed or not. Two students are still hospitalized one is still critical at Cincinnati Children's Hospital the other is still in University of Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington and may require brain surgery.
