Glasgow Teen Killed In Head On Collision

A 19 year old Glasgow resident was killed Thursday on 31 E in Glasgow. The Barren County Sheriff's Department said a 69 year old woman from Glasgow crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with the 1999 Toyota Camry driven by the 19 year old. The teenager was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital by STATCARE in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The other driver was in stable condition at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She did not know why she crossed the center line. The teenager was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
