Floyd County Woman Dies in I-64 Crash

A Floyd County woman was killed after she reportedly fell asleep and flipped her vehicle Sunday. The Banner, Ky resident suffered fatal injuries and was partially ejected. She was wearing a seatbelt. A 33-year old passenger was also ejected and was found about 50 feet from the vehicle. He was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center and later the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was reported to not be wearing a seat belt. The Clark County Sheriffs Department investigated.
