Fatal Crash on US 41A in Hopkins County

An accident in Hopkins County has left two people dead. According to Kentucky State Police a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and passed several vehicles and apparently lost control. The vehicle left the right side of the roadway gong into a ditch and striking a culvert causing the vehicle to flip. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected and neither were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Both occupants died and an investigation is pending.
