Alcohol intoxication may have contributed to a crash that killed one and injured three.
The accident happened about a mile north of Butler on U.S. 27. Apparently a Chevrolet Silverado pickup ran off the right side of the road then crossed into the northbound lanes, it hit a guard rail and tree before rolling four or five times. The truck was occupied by four Pendleton County residents returning from Campbell County. One of the passengers was killed at the scene after being ejected, two others were also ejected none were wearing seatbelts. Officers found evidence of alcohol at the scene.
