Driver Killed In I-65 Crash In Jefferson County

Around 6 a.m. this morning I-65 was shut down during the morning rush hour due to an accident that claimed the life of a 45 year old Buffalo, KY man. A semi truck was stopped due to a previous accident when it was struck in the rear by a pickup truck, then the pickup truck was struck in the rear by a car. The driver of the pickup truck was killed due to multiple blunt force injuries, the driver of the car was taken to University Hospital with unknown injuries. The semi driver was uninjured
