Criminal Charges for Woman in Motorcyclist's Death

A 38 year old man died on Cane Run Road Sunday night after a woman backed her van onto the road trying to make a U-turn and struck his motorcycle. The motorcyclist died later at University Hospital.
The driver of the van fled the scene and got into another vehicle and the was later dropped several miles from the scene. She has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence and driving without a license. A passenger in the van was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
