Tuesday a Harlan County man was killed, when according to a Kentucky State Police accident reconstructionist from Post 11 in London, his Ford F-250 slammed into the back up a semi tractor-trailer near exit 48 in Laurel County. The tractor-trailer had stopped due to construction and had his flashers on. The Harlan County mans truck slammed into the back of the trailer, going underneath it up to the bottom of the windshield. The cab collapsed killing the man. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured. Traffic was tied up for two hours while they worked to clear the scene. This was the second fatality in the past week on I-75.
