Crash Kills One And Injures Three Dunbar Students

Yesterday four Paul Laurence Dunbar High School students were injured while on their way to school. Around 8 a.m. Wednesday on the outbound lane of Versailles Road the 1993 Geo Prizm blew a rear tire and spun around, it's rear end struck a 1991 Jeep Wagoneer that had parked in the emergency lane. All students were wearing seatbelts. They were all taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where one was one was in critical condition and passed away this morning, and one was in serious condition. Two others were treated and released.
