Thursday morning debris littered the roadway at the site of an accident on the Cumberland Parkway. Around 11:30 a.m. a pickup truck driven by a 36-yea-old Williamsburg resident and a tractor trailer driven by a 29-year-old of Reynolds Station were both westbound when the pickup truck was rear ended by the tractor trailer throwing it into the woods. The driver of the pickup had to be STAT flighted to the University of Louisville Hospital. A passenger in the pickup and the driver of the tractor trailer were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. The semi driver was cited for reckless driving.
