Collision In Covington Sends One To Hospital

Around 9 a.m. Monday a Covington woman as driving north on Greenup Street when she ran a red light and into the path of a tractor-trailer hauling scrap steel, striking the side of the vehicle. Her vehicle was then dragged 30-40 feet before coming to a stop. She was wearing a seatbelt and the airbag did deploy. She was taken to the University of Cincinnati where she was listed in serious condition. The driver of the truck was not inured in the accident according to the Covington Police Department.
