Clark-Moores Middle School Student Dies After Accident

The eighth grade student passed away Tuesday morning after an accident that happened Monday night on the Eastern Bypass. She and a friend attempted to cross the bypass and were struck by a Ford Focus. The driver was not injured. Both girls were transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital. Preliminary indication is that the driver had the green light. The accident is still being investigated, an accident reconstructionist team is working with the Richmond Police Department.
