Monday evening around 8:30 a Clark County Sheriff's Deputy was turning onto Old Boonesboro Road when he turned into the path of a truck driven by a 47 year old Paint Lick man. Unable to avoid the officer he hit the police car's right back side and skidded out of control and into the lane of another vehicle driven by a 41 year old from Winchester. The 47 year old Paint Lick man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The others were not injured. The Kentucky State Police are investigating the accident. The officer was not responding to any calls at the time of the accident and had no lights or sirens activated.
