Early Monday morning a crash sent 5 people to area hospitals. The accident occurred around 3 a.m. on Amster Grove Road in Winchester. The accident involved a truck pulling a boat and an SUV. Apparently the truck tried to avoid the SUV and the two hit, sending the truck over an embankment. Two were taken to Clark Regional Medical Center and three to the University of Kentucky Hospital.
