A single-car accident claimed the life of a Lockport woman Tuesday. Henry county Emergency Services found her dead inside the car from a severe head injury. According to KSP she was driving on Drennon Road when she came out of a curve and went off the right side of the road. The vehicle became airborne and hit a tree, she was not wearing a seatbelt. Two children were in the back seat, a 3 year old child was unrestrained and ejected from the vehicle suffering broken bones. A 7 month old was in a child safety seat and suffered non life threatening injuries. Both children are still in Kosair Childrens' Hospital.
