Barren County Wreck Kills One

An accident Saturday on I-65 in Barren County claimed the life of an Elizabethtown woman who was traveling with her family. The Chevrolet Tahoe was towing a 20-foot travel trailer when the trailer began to sway the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Tahoe then left the road and hit a rock wall and overturned. The Elizabethtown woman died at the scene of the accident. The driver was treated and released. The two passengers were flown to University Hospital and Kosair Children's Hospital. All passengers were wearing seatbelts.
