ATV Accident Claims Life of Monroe Child

A 5 year old boy died Sunday after being hit by an ATV that was accidentally shifted into neutral, causing it to roll down an embankment. The ATV struck the child causing serious head injuries.

Evan Warren and his older brother were playing outside a home on Apple Grove Road about 11 a.m. when the older boy accidentally shifted the four-wheeler into neutral, causing it to roll about 5 to 7 feet down an embankment, Kentucky State Police said.
