Three Nicholasville children were killed Tuesday night and three were injured when the van they were in crashed into a tree on Watts Mill Road just south of Nicholasville around 8 p.m. They were returning from a swimming trip. Of the injured one was listed in critical condition, one in fair condition, the other was in good condition. The accident is being investigated by the sheriffs department who would not speculate on what may have led to the crash.
