12-Year-Old in Coma After Car Crash

Monday night a car crash in Grayson, Kentucky sent a 12-year-old boy to the hospital in with severe head trauma and multiple injuries and another to jail. A 31-year-old Webbville man was sent to jail after his pickup truck collided with a car driven by a 19-year-old Damaron Branch woman. About 6:30 the pickup truck rounded a curve heading west and swerved into the lane of the car, she swerved to miss him and they hit on the passenger sides. The 12-year old passenger was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital where he remains in a coma in critical condition. The woman was later treated at the hospital for spleen damage. The driver of the truck was uninjured, he failed a field sobriety test. He was sent to King's Daughters Hospital for blood test and lodged in the Carter County Jail.
