A Kentucky Semi-Truck Wreck closed two lanes of Interstate 24 on Sunday. All of those involved escaped serious injury. This time the Greyhound Bus Wreck was in Pennsylvania instead of Bowling Green Kentucky. A Greyhound Bus flipped and injured more than Forty Passenger. An Interstate Trucking Accident involving a Semi-Truck and a Western Kentucky Couple turned deadly last week in Kentucky. Saturday morning around 9 a.m. on highway 15 a vehicle driven by a 72-year-old from Sassafras crossed into the path of a coal truck, striking it head on. The 72-year-old was killed. Police recovered the body yesterday after the Semi plunged into the Licking River after striking a vehicle stopped in the emergency lane on Tuesday night. Heavy rains may have caused a tractor trailer accident Friday just outside of Columbia on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. The driver apparently lost control ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail, then crossed the westbound lanes, overturned and landed in the median. A semi tractor-trailer overturned Saturday causing Kentucky 141 to close for about 3 ½ hours. The 2001 Freightliner carrying a load of corn missed a curve, crossed the center line and dropped off the shoulder of the road. The driver had to be extricated by the Morganfield Rescue Squad and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A terrible accident occurred in New York Friday when a car carrying four teenagers crossed the median of I-84 into oncoming traffic and was hit by a semi-trailer. The wreck killed three girls, all of whom were seniors in high-school nearing their graduation.
